The Trenzado is assembled from 6 different vineyards in the Valle de la Orotava ranging from 10 to 150 years old and grown mostly in the traditional system of cordón trenzado, which gives its name to this wine. Listán Blanco (A.K.A. Palomino Fino) accounts for 98% with 2% other varieties (Torrontés, Gual, Marmajuelo, Albillo Criollo, Malvasía, Vijariego Blanco). After a soft pressing and settling in stainless steel, the must ferments with indigenous yeasts in a combination of 500-liter puncheons and 2,500- and 4,500-liter oak foudres, where the wire matured for nine months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Trenzado is our village white wine, mostly from Listán Blanco, but also including other native varieties such as Pedro Ximenez, Albillo Criollo, Gual, Marmajuelo or Malvasia.
