Remi Jobard is a Meursault specialist, creating modern and elegant wines from the family estate. Remi recently took over from his father Francois and has moved to Organic viticulture. The Domaine Jobard house style is very elegant and long lived with minimal oak influence. Remi organically farms 8 hectares of vineyards including the premier cru's of Genevrieres and Charmes.
He does the longest fermentation of anyone in Meursault; 2 months long and even moves his barrels outside to the courtyard where it is colder so that the fermentation takes as long as possible!
