Named after one of his daughters (his other label is Failla), Day marks Ehren Jordan's return to Zinfandel after years of experience as a winemaker at Turley. His obsessive hands-on farming practices and minimalist hands-off winemaking approach come through in every bottle. Originating from four different vineyards, all practicing organic agriculture, and fermented using native yeast and 10% whole clusters. The wine has 5% Petite Sirah complementing the Zinfandel and is made in a style for early consumption. It was aged on 90% neutral, 10% new French oak for 11 months before bottling.
